I am 15 years old

What number do you wear? Any particular reason why?
I play in number 00 because it kind of game me a blank slate to start on for the High School season.

What position do you play?
I play goalie

How long have you played soccer?
I have been playing soccer for 10 years (since kindergarten)

What city do you live in?
I live in Prairie Village, KS.

What team/club/coach/school do you play for?
I play for Shawnee Mission East High School.

What is your favorite thing about training with Finesse?
My favorite thing about training with Finesse is all the one-on-one work you get, and all the new people you meet.

How has training with Finesse helped you?
Training with Finesse has helped me develop my skills and be more confident in each game I play.

Tell us about why you wanted to start training with Finesse.
I wanted to train because I thought Finesse would really help my play get better.

(Parent question): What is something you like about your daughter training with Finesse?

We love that Sarah gets to train with other female athletes who competed at an elite level. She really loves the one-on-one training sessions. She looks forward to them, goes into them smiling, and comes out smiling, and covered in dirt and grass stains. It’s a great goalie workout.

What is your favorite thing about soccer?

My favorite thing about soccer is the team building.

Who is your all-time favorite athlete (any sport)?
My favorite athlete is a tie between Joe Hart and Hope Solo.

What is something you like to do in your free time?
I love to paint and do photography in my free time.

If you had a song that played as you walked onto the pitch, what would it be?
I would have Unstoppable by The Score play as I walked up.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I always touch each post before the game starts.

Any superstitions?
I wrap my wrists in the same way before each game.

What honors or awards have you earned? 
My high school team recently won our first tournament in penalties. I have also been team captain on my club team for the past three years.

What advice would you share with younger players?
Always be confident and work hard.

If you could nominate a Captain of Kindness, who would it be and why?
I would nominate my teammates that I have been playing with since first grade. We have always been really supportive to each other and backed each other up on every decision made.

Who do you look up to and why?
I look up to my coaches and peers because they always challenge me to compete at my hardest and to get better.

What are your goals as a player, both short term and long term?
My goals for short term are to make it on my varsity high school team and be team captain. My goals for long term is to play while in college
